Al Welch

aka Alexander Elliott- Welch (real name)

Ladies and gentlemen, you could not be ready to meet the artist on which we to blame for this comic. Mr. Alexander Henry Rhys Elliott-Welch. But, who is Alexander Henry-Rhys Elliott-Welch? Is he not yet a famous cartoonist? At least, he is, in fact, a student studying Art and Design at one of the bestest universites in the South of England. Not Oxford, but Southampton City College!

Known to readers as "Al Welch", Elliott-Welch was born on Friday 17th January 1992 at a hospital in Penrith, Cumbria. Three months later, his family moved down south to Southampton, where he currently living. From c.1997 until July 2003, he went to Netley Court School (now Springwell School), and then from September 2003 until June 2008, he was learning at Red Lodge School (from April 2007, it is called Great Oaks School) From September 2008 until July 2014, he did Art and Design at Southampton City College.

He's currently doing a three year course in Illustration at Southampton Solent University.

Apart from being an artistic need, he's keen on sporting. He's a member of the Southampton Gymnastics Special Needs Group (until June 2012), a member of Basingstoke Gymnastics Disablites Group (from August 2012), a member of the Hampshire Hurricanes tag rugby team, and has a membership with Active Nation on gym.
